Alberta Tewks, also credited as "Al Tewks", "Al Tews", "Alberta Tews", and "Tewks", was a penciller, inker, writer and letterer in the Golden Age.

Tewks started as a freelance letterer for Timely Comics, during Vince Fago's tenure as Editor-in-Chief (1942-1945)[1] By 1953 she had moved on to pencil and ink for Helnit (Holyoke), Charlton, Comic Media, and Harwell Publications.
