Anonina "Anne" Margaret Quattrocchi, Ph.D., (August 2, 1903 - March 15, 1994) wrote most of the two issues of Picture Stories from World History for EC Comics in 1947.

Life & Career[]

Quattrocchi graduated magna cum laude from Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1921. After graduating from the Pittsburgh Training School for Teachers, she became a history teacher at Allerdice High School in Pittsburgh. She later earned both her master's degree and doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh in 1927 and 1945, respectively.

She died in 1994, and is buried in Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
