Hilary Lawler is an artist from Meath, Ireland. She is the creator of Superhilbo!, a character who has appeared in various Irish anthologies and her own comic, the first issue of which was launched at the 2D Comics Festival in Derry in June 2009.

Hilary co-founded the Irish comics collective Longstone Comics in 2008. She contributed to the first four issues of the Longstone Comics anthology, including Superhilbo! stories, as well as illustrating "Bar Flies" and "The Murder Room", both written by her husband, Peter C. Loftus, and acted as production editor from issue 3 on.

She organised the Point Village Comic Festival in Dublin in June 2010, and is a contributor to Irish Comic News.
