Janelle Asselin is an American comic book editor formerly employed as an assistant editor on the Batbooks at DC Comics. She left DC in September 2011 for Disney's new comics enterprise. While at Disney, she worked on magazines for Marvel, Mickey Mouse, Club Penguin, Monsters University, and Where’s My Water. She also directed and wrote comics scripts for Disney Fairies Magazine. She was let go from Disney after two years when Disney downsized their publishing division.

She currently works as a Project Editor at Sideshow Collectibles. She also writes about comics freelance, including co-writing (with Anne Elizabeth Moore) a comic column about inclusiveness and diversity in the comics community at Bitch magazine's website.
