Mary Wings (born April 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American writer, artist, and musician. She was raised in the Baha'i faith, and attended Shimer College, a small Great Books college in Mount Carroll, Illinois. In 1973 Mary Wings made history by releasing Come Out Comix, the first lesbian underground comic book. She left comics after publishing Are Your Highs Getting You Down? in 1980.

She has gone on to write a series of detective novels featuring lesbian heroine Emma Victor. Divine Victim, Wings' only Gothic novel, won the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Mystery in 1993.

Wings resides in San Francisco.
