"Tiny Wee" from The Chicks' Own
Mildred Entwistle was a British artist who drew for the Amalgamated Press' nursery comics. She and "Tiny Wee" in The Chicks' Own (1936-57). She also drew for Tiny Tots, and illustrated children's books, including an edition of Charles Kingsley's The Water Babies.
There's an Entwistle who drew "The Adventures of Winkle and Binkle Minor" in Lot-o'-Fun (1908-20) and Comic Life (1922), but this may not be the same person. Clark thinks they are the same, Gifford doesn't. There are five Mildred Entwistles in the 1911 census, but the oldest would have been 11 in 1908.
