Ruth Irene Brant-Croal (March 25, 1921 - June 18, 2011) was an editor for DC Comics's romance line in the 1950s.

Brant was born in Fargo, North Dakota in 1921 to Emil and Alma Brant. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College in New York in the class of 1943. She supposedly took over for Zena Brody when the latter left DC in 1955.

She returned to North Dakota in 1959, and died in Oro Valley, Arizona in 2011.
