Women and the Comics was an exhibit at the Museum of Cartoon Art in Rye Brook, New York, that opened May 19, 1984. It was curated by Trina Robbins and Mort Walker.
At the opening reception, several of the artists drew on the walls of the women's restroom, in response to the tradition of male cartoonists drawing on the walls of the men's room, started by Chuck Jones in 1979.
