Wonder Women: On Paper and Off ran at the Women's Museum of California in San Diego from June 7 to September 1, 2013. It was curated by Trina Robbins from her personal collection, with contributions from Joyce Farmer, Mary Fleener, Carol Lay, Ron May, Peiter Ortiz, Mimi Pond, and Andrea Tsurumi. Also presented at the exhibit was the documentary Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines, directed by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan.
On July 18, 2013, coinciding with the start of San Diego Comic-Con, the museum held a panel discussion with Robbins, Lay, Fleener, and Ramona Fradon.
The exhibit was later hosted at the ToonSeum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, under the title Wonder Women: On Page and Off. It ran from January 4 to March 30, 2014.
